Chevy should have a firebird version of the Camaro... No need for a Pontiac division. I had a 1973 Formula 455 Firebird... Great car, wish I had it today based on the appreciation of these cars.

Nice. That car and the 389 GTO are the main reasons I'm glad Pontiac existed. But nothing from GM seems interesting these days, except they finally got the vette right (mostly). Still not a fan of the tail lights on that thing...

The Aztec is trully the nightmare after a hang-over turned into a car. I don't see
how could that pass the marketing and design filters... I hope somebody got fired
for producing something so disgraceful.

Yet people still bought the damn things...granted not many but why would anyone buy such garbage...reminds of the brief time when the mustangs completely lost their identity in the 90's.

meaning less comparison ………. a modern day BMW against a 35 year old 'pony car' ???? try comparing your BMW against a new Camaro Z28…….all you would do is look at it's taillights !

The seventies was a bad automotive era period, not just for American cars

Kevin.......Yep, I'm missing Oldsmobile about as much as Pontiac......NOT!

Through the '70's they were all Chevrolet's except for the grills, taillights and dashboards.
