Default Anyone into dirt bikes?

Seems like exotic cars and Harleys are the norm for the "AA" crowd.
There must be someone that loves to muck it up in the dirt. I still love to ride as a way for our family to have some fun together. We plan our holidays around going to different places to camp and ride. I ride a 2011 KTM 450XCW. My 11 yr. old son rides a Yamaha TTR125 and my lovely wife is on a quad, 2010 Can Am Outlander 650. We even take the dog! It's a great way to stay young!

Probably not too many. But I do ride a Yamaha TW200 for quick trips to the post office on the steep, curvey gravel ranch road (0-1800' elevation in 5 miles) as well as a Polaris RZR 900, Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATV, and Kubota RTV for ranch work on the trails. 69 years old. The dog runs ahead.

I sold my last dirt-bike a Yamaha 360 Enduro a couple years after I got married. That was a long time ago. It was fun but riding it beat the hell out of the body.

I bought KTM 350 freeride 5 months ago. On my first ever serious ride on it, i broke my tibia, tore my ACL and screwed my meniscus. Still nursing the injury.

And because of that, i got into audio hifi. ps i hv been riding overlanding last 20 years. I will riding again when i fully recover.

Really? That's great! What kind of racing? I grew up on a snowmobile. My home town was Beausejour Manitoba. They have a 5/8 mile ice oval and sno-cross track.
I remember the days when the late Gilles Villeneuve would come to town to race sleds before he became an F1 Legend. Snowmobiling is the only thing I truly miss from the prairies.
