I can't really say the same for many of the much more expensive brands I have owned. I was certainly much more careful with Lange, Patek and Audemars.
Very true Serge. Rolex somehow had the kind of workmanship that transform a "beaten and battered" time piece in 2 weeks at most, back to a NEW and MINT condition. Unbelievable! Also, its not expensive to get a compete overhaul unless, many parts need to be changed. I had the first experience when I took my dad's then $400 (1972) Rolex date just steel for a compete overhaul. Wow, everything like new, from the bracelet to the plastic lens.

Indeed, I can't the same for IWC, AP, and Patek. I had scratches on my IWC 7 days and AP Royal Oak bezels and its so difficult for it to come back as clean as new. Well, my ex-Lange 1 did come back like new as it went back to the factory after I knocked it on the teppanyaki table. BUT it took a full 3 months.

Hmm, now its between the Moser Perpectual and the Rolex Sky Dweller I will need to choose on my next visit to the shop.

Yes, that Everose gold is very nice. For my wife's birthday, I got her the new Datejust 31 with Oyster two tone bracelet in everose gold with the new chocolate dial, the "IV" set in diamonds, everose bezel set with diamonds as well. Looks spectacular, she LOVED it.

The two time zones are already present on the GMT which is a classic that I already own.

I think I would like it better with sticks instead of numbers or roman numerals on the hour markers

Serge,

We think alike!

Thats EXACTLY the one I got for my wife earlier this year! In return, I got the Lange Time Zone PG. I have been eyeing that for a year before I jump and got it for her.

She likes the watch much more than the Pearlmaster Yellow Gold! Oh well, that was a 10 year old watch anyway, so cant blame her.

Cheers!
