Hello friends !
Do you buy second hand watches ? If you did so, please state your experiences and post pics if possible. BTW, I'm looking for an Audemars Royal Oak steel automatic with grey, white or blue dial so if someone has one he does not want anymore.... Sent from my iPad using A.Aficionado

I bought a Rolex Daytona two tone from a place called Essential Watches with no difficulty. If I ever buy my dream Patek Philippe, it will probably be used.

yes I bought a rolex datejust 2 tone from an authorized dealer and got a warranty . It had just come back from the NY rolex service center

For my girlfriends whole life she had always wanted a vintage Rolex. I found her a beautiful used,vintage Airking and made her a gift of it. She loves it, wears it everyday, and it keeps perfect time. Similar to this one.

I bought my daily wearer (Rolex Datejust - steel with blue face) used and it has been perfect. It came with everything - even the hang tag.
Right now I am saving for my dream watch (Patek Aquanaut 5066A) and it will be a used purchase as well. When you love watches but live in a modest tax bracket buying used is the only way to make something like this happen. I'm not complaining - I feel very fortunate that acquiring a watch like this is even a possibility.

I haven't, but I'd certainly consider doing so from the right seller. I'm not a huge Rolex fan, but I'd like to some day pick up a used ND Sub and slap it on a NATO band for a good weekend wearer. Also considered a used AP GP at one point.
