I personally find it rather amuzing and I am sure Jerry can probably relate to this given the very expensive real estate in Singapore is that for a price of a watch like this, as fabulous as it may be, I can purchase over 600 acres of land in some states!

Yes Serge, I can relate.

Everything here is relatively MORE expensive, LAND, CARS, .... Watches not so though.

But when the day comes that I can REALLY AFFORD this fork out, I'll go for it .... After all, I dont like to compromise. It only makes matter worse! Like HiFi, I walked one big circle to learn I can actually stop at Meridian (and would have probably save enough (or more) for this Lange 31).

The thing I can be happy about even though I had lost monies is that I made many nice friends (you, Dan, Ivan, Howie, Victor, Jesse, Jim, etc, ...) over this (and previous) forum (thanks for my fetish for McIntosh then) whom I really cherish! Money cant buy the happiness each time I go thru the forum.

Meanwhile, I can still be my crazy self ...
