This lightweight TT is part of a little system in our bedroom. The only other source is an AirPort Express. While we were engaged my wife and I agreed to never have a TV in the bedroom. Never. Music, however, is just peachy.

My dealer swapped out the RCAs for XLRs with the help of Rich at Boulder. I'm using a Boulder 1012 DAC/Pre as my phono pre-amp. But for one TOSLink digital input that unit only has balanced inputs. We all felt properly soldered XLRs would be better than adapters.

The sound is Dreamy. I could listen to Madeline Peyroux on vinyl until my last breath. It seems the whole family loves vinyl. My 7 year old son even has a little record player in his room and a collection on 80s records to play on it.

We like the P7 so much that we've just ordered a Rega P9 with Lyra Delos to wall mount next to the big system in our game room. For a plug and play guy like me the simplicity of the Rega tables is appreciated. Thinking ARC phono-pre....

aerosmith....I'm a Rega man myself, great pics of a great tt, enjoy spinning

Thanks, Dan. I actually have Rega number 2 on order for our main Game Room system. Can you guess the model? I'll be putting a Lyra Delos on it and running it through the new ARC PH6 phono pre-amp. My dealer is having Kimber re-terminate an old pair of KS 1130s with SE inputs at one end so I can go from the ARC's RCAs to a Boulder 810's XLRs.

It seems I buy 5 records for every CD these days....

Jeff,

I love the "carbon fiber 160..."

Beautiful.

How does that vintage table sound stacked up against the rest?
