Get the Primare one. Way cheaper (I belive 4k euro in retail), comes in silver, and even read some test that said it is better than Ayre. Also Oppo based.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but I just saw a report that Philips, co-inventor of CD, is exiting the consumer electronics business after 80 years. The division has been losing money. The main reason, according to Philips, is declining sales of DVD and BD players due to increased availability of online content.
The division was sold to a Japanese company, Funai Electric, for $201.8 million (that's not a lot) and brand-license fees which run through 2015. Funai also handles Magnavox and Emerson and is the #3 manufacturer in the North American market based on units sold. Wow. |
