Default Excited on my Panasonic ST50(55)

I been holding off buying a replacement TV set because my then 2 y.o son was beating/poking/grabbing/throwing things on my old Samsung LCD. Samsung died on several occasion but eventually will start after 3-5 mins waiting.

So, I decided it's about time. The Panasonic will be delivered this Wednesday. I'm sooooo excited here is one of the reviews online with one of the best screens out there Panasonic ST50 vs Sharp Elite Pro: How much would you pay? | TV and Home Theater - CNET Reviews

Anyone have the same exact TV set? anything you might want to share before I sign?

Jason.......Moving from an LCD Samsung to a Panasonic Plasma television is a nice move. The review comparison of the Panasonic ST50 certainly speaks well for it. Hope you have managed to get your youngster settled down. The glass face on the plasma may not be as forgiving as the plastic face on the Samsung was.

Don't forget to follow up and let us know your impressions of the new Panasonic ST50.

I don't have your exact set (darn), but I do have a Panasonic plasms and am very happy with it. I got a 50" first, but that didn't pass the "it must disappear into the decor" test and that went back. So now am stuck with a mere 42" of the same model, which makes having 1080p somewhat worthless. However, it does the job superbly. Congratulations!

Hi guys.

I saw the TV set IIRC at BB or HHGREeG and I like it. I didn't know it has a very good/outstanding review-- my eyes wasn't fooling me then.

I'll post some pics soon.

Hi BOB,

my concern right now is I have NOT read the manual. lol

seriously speaking, I have an apple TV but somehow the HDMI connection (whether #2, 3) is NOT responding. I have to re-connect it to my old LCD (tomorrow) and see if the apple TV is not working. I already used 2 HDMI cable but to no avail.

when the TV set was delivered, the guy who install it told me that when I connect my DirectTV it has to be "ON" otherwise it will hunt/look for the connection and it'll take about an hour to re-connect. So, I wonder if this is the same with ANY connections.

Thanks
