Absolutely. I'm familiar with the subject and have done my own HT before, but that was over 17 years ago. Like I said, I'm starting from the ground-up with a few different systems. One is HT/Multichannel for a home theater, another is a system that will do both well in a relaxed gathering/entertaining area, the other is a more dedicated 2ch listening room system. Still have much prep to do on many levels. Ok I think i've already derailed the thread (MY APOLOGIES) so back to those pictures of Bryson gear...

This is absolutely the best advise you can give him. Then he'd really enjoy the SP3. The amp advice was good too, but the speaker recommendation is indispensable to make the multichannel work to its fullest potential.

BTW, my issue with audio/video dropouts turned out to have been an HDMI cable--or, rather, a run of Cat6 with converters to HDMI at either end, run behind wall paneling I built last year.

I'm very familiar with the speaker voicing issue and am in full agreement...that's the way I've done it in the past. Thx again. Big interest in the SP-3 as well. My concern being that, as good as it is, things seemed to have moved on with ATMOS, etc..not that I'd have ATMOS in every environment where i'd have multichannel media flexibility w/2ch as well.

I read about it. I also read where you complimented Bryston for their fast service too. I have to agree with you. Right now, I am of the mind frame wherein if I ever need another audio product, it will be Bryston because of service and the fact that they stand behind their products.
