Are you opening a store ?
My advice to you : buy a 275 and a Shindo amp like the Montrachet. Compare them and report please !
Remove the "Mystery stones" from your 601's autoformers and transfos and put the 275 and the Shindo on the 601's. Then, you will have a killer messy system !
Thanks!

I am having a blast. The only problem ...... I want it all

Joe...I would try the Manley Neo-Classic 250s on your new Cornwalls. That might be a fun experiment too. It will be a listening room/sauna in the summer at the same time

Hi Cyril,

Brian mentioned that also. I don't know If I can stand the heat yet, but that combo is definitely on the menu. Maybe a fall/winter project?

I just have to say that maybe the Klipsch Cornwalls are not considered "audiophile" speakers but they are TRUELY AMAZING. I was listening until late last night and like others have said before, I heard things on some cds that I never heard before. They are keepers for sure I wonder how a pair of La Scalas would sound? Brian - place the order

Joe

Glad you like your CWIII's Joe! BTW...I'm not surprised they're up to task with Burmester. Looking forward to your impressions with the 601's, the first 6 watts are all you'll need

Hi Bradley,

You were absolutely correct on the Cornwalls specifically and Klipsch in general. I'm playing the 601's right now. I'm sure the amps are not broken in but I don't feel the same emotional response as the 911 mk3 yet, I am sorry to say. I will have to give it more time. I can barely take 6 watts on the meter - talk about efficient speakers

I got to hear the Cornwall III's with my Leben. maybe bring the amp down to Local dealer as for sure, cant bring in the speakers. No cabinet top with a pot of flowers will hide them!

Hi Bradley,

The MC601's are starting to open up and smooth out, a definite improvement from the past few days. They seemed a little closed in on top when I first put them in service, now that's a thing of the past Nice big McIntosh sound

I see why Dan (jdandy) likes them so much

Hey Joe...my guess is Brian probably didn't use those speakers long enough to break them in either
