It is good that you will have about a week with the unit. It takes time to sift thru the differences in new gear. Sometimes any change makes you sit up and take notice but it takes time to see that there are usually positive and negative attributes to most gear.

Jim
Thank you Jim !
I'm running fast after you but you're too young for me : I 'm short of breath !

You're absolutely right. There is always the excitement of the first day so having it for almost a week will give a better idea.

Thank you Dave ! I will.
I know you love Rega.
Although I never heard Shindo, I read many comments here about their products, and it seems to me that Rega's approach to Music is very close to Shindo, but with an industrial strength.

I think so Tommy. It is the demo unit of the french importer. The one I listened to at the Paris HiFi show.

Cyril,
Osiris comes only in SS. But I would not be surprised to see an MK2 version with a tube preamp stage, looking at what Rega did to the Isis....

That's very cool to be able to audition the Rega for a week. You have some monster amps right now, I'm curious as to how the Osiris will stack up.

Hello Doug,
I'm actually very much impatient to hear how an high end SS amp will drive my PMC EB1i compared to the tubes...
