As you have heard this combination as whole I thought you would be share this for us, nothing more.
Sweetmusic69,

I heard TAD CR1's with DA1000 and D1000 with M2500 amplifier in a shop in Gent, Belgium, see the TAD website.
I believe the CR1's were not in the regular program of the shop, as the listening session was on an audioshow especially with TAD. Don't know about the other items if they are there for immediate auditions, if not, the owner can arrange this for sure.
Very helpful owner of the shop by the way!

The Esoteric leans towards classical (and is superb at it), the D1000 is as good at classical and brilliant at everything else. I chose the D1000 over the D600 - partly because of the USB DAC & DSD ability.

Default USB input on D1000mk2

Anybody here that know if it has to be a Win or MAC computer to use the USB input or does it work with Linux? If it works with a Linux streamer what resolutions will work?

Anybody that knows what the DAC will do with higher resolutions? Someone told me that TAD re-samples everyting to 24/96 before it goes in to the DAC chip is that correct?

I was at wide screen recently for a harbeth event recently and it was quite nice. They had a few tad electronics and the ce tad speakers, but not the cr-1s or the r-1s. Very nice shop indeed - I'd love a shop like that in Atlanta.
