On Monday evening I switched on an additional new brand in my system and I was so surprised to hear what I heard. All the praise I can think of, I could write here and now but dare not, what should I write in the future? It may be a little sober anyway, so I say this is the absolute best I've heard in my room when it comes to digital playback. So much better, I never thought it could be / sound! Yet, I have not used all of the product's potential for different connections cables etc.

byZan, your post has me very interested in what new brand/product you added to your system. Not sure if it belongs here or possibly in a new thread, but please share your new discovery with us! You have a very nice system and we could benefit from your experience.

First, thank you for your opinion on my setup , thanks!

Secondly, I do not know if I post in the "right" thread?
In forums I'm in Sweden , there is a thread called type , members setup or similar , but I have not found such a thread here why I insist on using this thread as such , right or wrong ?

Now to what happened on Monday night ....

I have long understood that despite fine digital devices are not able to achieve the analog quality of the sound the way I wanted, so therefore I have listened to several different DACs . Since the service , updates , development , support, future-proofing , etc. played an important part in the choice I made .

So the choice fell on the DCS Vivaldi dac and I am more than happy even though I have only plugged it in the simplest possible manner and with the supplied cables .

So now get to sit here and listen is just a joy ..... do not know how to describe what is seen and heard just now? Maybe silly to even try ? Will probably calm down a bit before I even try , but I'm damn happy I can assure
