Very nice combo, I've heard it before. For the money Rega is pretty hard to beat.

It's on me shopping list, and gets the nod from the Brit hi fi press as well. Look forward to your review.

Very clean looking. Reminds me of my early days as an audiophile when I owned the Cyrus 1 amp.

Good to read that the Brio has the grunt to drive Maggies. I have shortlisted the Brio for a second setup, to drive a pair of paradigm studio 20 v3's.
Cheers,
Sid

Thanks Volks, actually I ended up getting a Belles Soloist amp. as I had a Parasound JC2 preamp. lying idle. These are making nice music with my old Paradigms. However I am considering the Rega for a 3rd system that will happen soon.
Cheers,
Sid

I had a Brio-R and absolutely the warm 'analog' sound. The most I loved the mid range, very natural and you'll have a sense of 'being there'

Excellent - heard that pair with Maggie MMGs and thought the amp conducted itself in a very civilized manner. Nice that those pieces are still made in the UK...
