Well, I think I've got that same problem I had with the Cortese and now with the GM 70's--I'm irrationally attached. Or not so irrationally considering how they sound. Matt may have to come and pry them from my cold hands and insert the 300b's. It's called Shindo Intervention for those of us that get stalled on the ladder to the top…

But more importantly, have you ordered the big Latours?

I agree.
Ken Shindo Speaks would be a headline that would attract a lot of attention. Or maybe we could get him on the forum (with translator) for Q&A? Hello, Matt?

Hahaha... Given the ...err...variety of interesting perspectives and motives this forum attracts, I'm extremely grateful that Jonathan and Matt expose themselves to the fray from time to time to straighten things out.

Frankly, I don't think that Mr. Shindo would go for such a thing ... and I kind of like that.

I had the Cortesse and traded it in on the CC34's. In many ways they are better but nothing has really produced vocals and classical guitar the way the Cortesse does. When i am richer I will once again own a Cortesse again. Both are great amps just need to wave a magic wand and take 40 parts F2a or 300b 40 parts EL34 and 20 parts HaitBrion.

Indeed. Ken is far too busy developing his art to even consider taking the time out of his day to be able to participate in such a thing, as interesting as it could be.

Sometimes a flame/radiation/bomb proof suit is needed to participate in the internet.

Well it will be +1 pretty soon. Matt @ Pitch Perfect showed it to me over the weekend and he was as gracious and helpful as usual.

The Cortese is a very nice IMO if you don't need mono amps or more power. For that be prepared to pay handsomely! However, for people who willing to pair it with appropriately efficient and higher impedance speakers, and/or don't need super high SPLs this is a damn good one to consider!

For me it's a perfect companion to my Aurieges... They will both only take up one shelf of my table. And the price is more approachable than the other Shindo S.E. gear. I'll just need to start to think about what I want to do for speakers...

Need to compare those to ...the baby Shindos, the Line Magnetic, etc...
