History repeats itself... unfortunately
 A striking photo of a CH-46E Sea Knight flying over the roof of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul this week occasioned immediate visual and emotional parallels with the Fall of Saigon, nearly fifty years ago. It turns out that the images and helicopters are not only similar, but they possibly involve some of the same aircraft that flew in Operation Frequent Wind, the mission to evacuate Americans and others from Saigon at the end of the conflict in Vietnam in 1975.

Thank you. I have read their reports. This one graph could mislead people into thinking renewable energy sources such as wind and solar are ready to takeover the energy market. Lazard’s conclusion is that they are ready to be complimentary to base load Combined Cycle Gas Turbines or Coal based technologies. My add is that more innovation is needed in energy storage in order to allow either solar or wind to be the world’s base power supply. And it may come. Enough pollution on this thread.
