Thanks Bob... at this time I don't want to enlarge the short list and fall on analysis paralysis. And yes, the G3 are priced at €30K ~$40K.

rlw3... room size is 10m wide 7m long.

bart... in Portugal the Sophia 3 (€20K) is much cheaper than the G3. The Sasha is on par with the G3 price wise. What happens is that the Wilson dealer noticed that I liked the Sophia and from then on he's just focused on selling those speakers - no effort on demoing the Sashas... Like you I've heard the TAD Reference One and liked it a lot, but also suspect that amp wise not so easy as the Vivid's.

I'm 99% leaning on the Vivid G3 and will take the decision until the end of the week.

Pedro, out of the three that you listed, I'd say you should go with the Vivid's.

Reason being that even though you like both the sound of the Vivid's and TAD's, it seems that your amp might be a little bit underpowered for the TAD's, but perfectly fine for the Vivid's. Not to mention that you said your interest is "fading" with the Wilson's.

Now if it were me, I'd go with the Wilson's, but that's only because I have heard several of their speakers in the past, typically the original Watt/Puppy and original MAXX. I used to install them and do the entire system setup for clients. I liked their natural, effortless sound.

I think you're making the right decision, the G3 is a world class speaker. I think you'll be very pleased with the sound in your room !!!
