Default Discovering/Enjoying new music

Since getting the DSD DAC I have been experimenting with different music, types that I never enjoyed before....

The new music that I am really enjoying is what I guess would be called either country or jazz vocals... Shelby Lynne, Norah Jones, and Diana Krall... some of the clearest, most inviting vocals that I have heard... I think I am getting hooked on a different kind of music...

I know what you mean. I have come to enjoy female vocalists more as I've improved my audio capabilities. I enjoy all of those you mentioned. Check out She & Him and any of Ricky Lee Jones pre-2000 albums, especially Pirates. Some amazing stuff. I wonder if any of her stuff is available on Hi-Rez?

"Traffic From Paradise" and "It's Like This" are available in DSD! Are you familiar with either of these? Are they good examples?

+ 1! On Rickie Lee. I've been nursing an old copy of pop pop and just got a re-issue of pirates. Amazing amazing stuff. Are her albums after 2000 not well done?

Don't know about the dsd recording for traffic, but the album itself is awesome from a content perspective.

+1 on Traffic from Paradise. Pirates is her masterpiece. The Magazine is also amazing. Flying Cowboys is also one of my favorites.
