Unfortunately, I have new amp and speakers, so am a month or so away from full system break in, critical listening and meaningful feedback. I can say it's a gorgeous chunk of sculpture with simple, smooth operation. I'm one of the few remaining hold-outs who still enjoys the tactile interaction of spinning CDs, and the buttery-smooth tray action is kind of a treat.

Its heartening to know that during break-in the good/great will get better. Enjoy the break-in experience and those hours will fly by. Looking forward to hearing about the Nirvana arrival.

OK OK I understand that the K03x is a wonderful CD/SACD player, but... how does it compare to other TOL DAC (DAVE, TotalDAC, ...) when used as a USB DAC only (feed with a USB music served) ?

Can I use it as my CD/SACD player AND also as my DAC for my other sources ?
