Congrats. Never heard a Triangle speaker that didn't impress me with its accuracy and natural presentation.

Hey Glenn, curious if you purchased these off the other website where we first met up? Sorry if you mentioned it and I missed it. If it was, I watched them every day and considered purchasing them until they sold. As much as I was interested in your Cantons a couple of months ago, I'm convinced now that a front ported speaker is the only option in my 9 ft by 12 ft room. I'm getting great results from my Usher speakers for now. I found some awesome copper binding posts to replace the brass ones. If anyone's interested they're called helicopter binding posts. A very unique design. And despite what many say they do make a noticeable improvement in sound. Within the next few days I'm going to rewire them internally. With that said if you decide to move on from these Triangles please give your pal milkdudd the first heads up that you will be selling them. Take care buddy

Edit: just to be clear Glenn, I know you're very happy with those speakers. I'm talking if down the road, even if it's a year or two (or more) I'd be interested

Was thinking we met on Audiogon. If there was a pair listed there I missed them. I did see a pair of Magellan Tempo floorstanders.

Still very pleased with what I'm hearing and still playing with position, tow-in, etc.

Yes, Audiogon is where we had some discussions. The pair of speakers I'm talking about were listed there by The Music Room in Colorado. Please update us from time to time with your opinions of those speakers. I'll have them on my "maybe someday" list along with the bottom ported Dynaudio Confidence 20. Take care

Yes. Purchased from the TMR. My Canton 9K Ref are now listed on their website. Both are excellent speakers, but I'll stick with the Duetto.

I don’t know your room but…. My room is about 12 x 15 and I have my speakers on the long wall so I have 12’ depth. My speakers are Dynaudio with a big rear port and they do great. I wouldn’t automatically disqualify rear ported speakers without giving them a try. Just my thoughts. (Even Neo approves and he has much better ears than I do).

Btw: for a relatively small room, those Stillpoints Apertures you see in the picture make the speaker wall almost disappear giving much more depth to the soundstage. But those Dyns sounded good before I added them.
