when Duane Allman died, Clapton went into a terrible funk and was gonna quit
altogether. after bein' talked out of it and to get treatment and save/resume his career, by the friend who's wife Clapton stole, this is the first album he released after treatment.
i saw'm do I shot the sheriff LIVE on one of his annual crossroads, good stuff..
clapton now the only one elected to rock hall 3 times, Yardbirds ('92)
