I'm using and AVR- though I did borrow a crown pro audio amp at one time and the BASS in the Klipsch speakers was 'otherworldly' - hence I'm on this journey to find the right amp.
Acknowledging their high sensitivity, Do you recommend McIntosh Amps such as the MC252, MC452, MC 501, MC601, etc? I keep getting -"Get the MC275!" from the forum collective, but I don't want to deal with Tubes.

Anyone of those amps would be superb. The older design MC252 and MC501's, I think, would be a slightly warmer, more tube-like sound. The newer MC452 and MC601's are a little faster more modern amp. High powered amps work extremely well on high sensitivity speakers. Klipsch speakers are better than many people believe.
