Default Bonamassa Rocked in Sugar Land, TX

Another great show given by Joe Bonamassa. We never fail to see him if he is nearby and he never fails to given an outstanding performance. A true guitar virtuoso and is a humble human being, too. Catch him if you get the opportunity.

KEEPING THE BLUES ALIVE!

As good as Bonamassa is, I'll take Texas' own SRV every time (may he RIP).

I am a big fan of SRV and TX blues. Stevie was an amazing artist. To me, Joe B. is a bit cleaner and more precise with his notes. BTW, the keyboard player in the background of one of the pics is none other than Reese Wynans, SRV’s keyboardist.

Bona-Who?

I run hot & cold on JB. Some of the songs are excellent, but some are considerably less so for me. But, seeing him live must have been a hoot. Where did you see him?

Another modern blues artist you might enjoy is Samantha Fish. She plays mostly smaller venues and larger music-fests (NOLA Jazz-Fest, etc.). https://www.samanthafish.com/

Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land, TX. He did ask the crowd to stand and give Reese Wynans a TX welcome home applause. All abliged.
