Default Parasound under new ownership!

As some of you may already know Richard Schram sold Parasound to
David Scheriff....but some may not have heard previousy...I hadn't.

Hopefully David Scheriff will maintain Parasound's commitment to quality
service and replacement parts for legacy Parasound gear and not become
a producer of throwaway non repairable gear as is the custom of some
major brand mass producers...

Here is the Parasound website

https://parasound.com/

and the article from Stereohile:

https://www.stereophile.com/content/...-new-ownership

Best wishes everyone

He’s off to a good start hiring Darren Myers as chief engineer and Larry Bennet as VP
of sales. Both great picks.

Hey W9TR..

Darren Myers I know is excellent....but I have not heard of Larry Bennet...what would
Larry Bennet bring to the VP position at Parsound...

A few months back a brief alert at the Pacific Audio Fest in Seattle Parsasound display
There was a placard displaying the pic of a mock up of a new P8 preamp with remote
accessible tone controls....an option I long to have...

With the changes at Parasound will this new P8 even see the light of day....I hope so!!

Best wishes

Larry Bennett comes from the custom installation and integration market, sometimes called the CEDIA market. It’s larger than the classic audiophile market, and represents an opportunity for Parasound to grow. He started selling audio gear at a HiFi store in Nashville.

Hey W9TR that is good news for Parasound...should take Parasound to new
heights and do hope it will!!

Perhaps my concern was unfounded, my thinking was that new owners
usually degrade rather than build up the quality of what they took over...

Hopefully I was wrong with my thinking

Thanks for your post!!

Best wishes

Just read a post over at the Parasound appreciation thread at Steve Hoffman
forum where the poster purchased a New JC5. The outer carton was soaked!!!
Yet the JC5 was dry and unharmed.

The poster got a hold of Parasound customer service....which in turn has shipped
him a new outer carton...

Way to go Parasound !!! ....keep up with your good customer service !!!

Hopefully this is indicative of how the new Parasound ownership team will be
helping their clientele

Best wishes
