I sat thru a Sonus Faber demo where they pushed the Elipsa SE to the point where I thought the drivers were going to shoot across the room. He was trying to show these where not just for soft music, violins or female vocalists.

I have thought of it I have a JLf113 but I could never get it to blend well so I just use it for movies if I set my h/t reliever to full range Sonus Faber cremona M fail on full range woofer pop

So do mine. Mine play loud & the bass is very good.
I also have the Cremona's(not M's). Amazing speakers. As with your M's mine are a little shallow on the bass.

My M's draw complaints from the neighbors (I live in a townhouse) if I crank up my MA6600 above 40 (and I've never had it above 55). Pull them out from the walls to improve bass. If that isnt enough, consider RELs.

If I had a choice when I bought my Elipsa , I would have gotten the SE glossy finish

I have the Elipsa SE's and they can rock the house. Paired with the 601's, my ears cry for mercy long before the Elipsa's give out.

Is there any max spl rating on these speakers? I mean they all must have some point where they just reach a ceiling and it does matter if you put 5000watts through them they stop go louder at some point right? |
