Sounds like a ton of expertise lies out here in these threads, and for that I am very grateful. I ask ahead of time for forgiveness as my ignorance WILL shine through brightly in some of my future questions - trust me!

Tried to edit my profile to add a signature and such, but said I do not have the privilege yet to do that. Need to figure all this out. Will keep trying until I have earned my stripes
Hello Jim, welcome to AA. You are correct that these are knowledgeable and really nice folks to associate with. I'm a fairly new member as well and a neophyte audiophile but being a part of this group has made it both a pleasure and a learning experience. I'm here in the McKinney area and always enjoy talking about our hobby, albeit with a limited knowledge base on my part. Drop a note here or a pm, sometime if I can help as well. Welcome to the group!

Larry
