Default "Audiophile" Streaming?

Sometimes...between my own, large collection, and on-demand services like Rhapsody and MOG...I forget about the long-ago discovered Linn Radio stations. I find the SQ to be very nice, and between the 3 flavors (Linn Radio, Jazz, and Classical)...it's nice to listen, and not know what's coming next.

Any other high-SQ services, akin to Linn Radio that you've discovered?

Hi Chris,

Is that 320 kbps streaming? Do you have a link? I thought there were some really hi-rez streams? Anyone have a link for them?

Thanks!

MOG is 320kbps and a good portion of Spotify is also 320.

Thanks Jim,

I know about MOG/Spotify and like the sound quality. With a good DAC streaming through my modified Sonos, it's pretty nice and convenient. I found a link to some Linn music but it's 320. I thought they or someone else had some higher rez streams.

Joe, it is 320 kbps I believe. Sounds better than any of the "on-demand" services to me; Rhapsody, MOG, etc.

That's one of the great things about the Squeezebox Touch; it's king of Internet Radio, AFAIC. I just search for Linn, and there they are! Not sure how you'd get them on your source (which is?).

Oh, sorry; not sure how the Sonos works. You're looking for Linn Radio, Linn Jazz, and Linn Classical; the 3 flavors of their streaming service.

I don't need to access it trough the Sonos, I have a computer attached also so it's not a big deal. I've seen the 3 Linn streams and like them also. I just thought I remember reading somewhere of a music stream of around 1,400 k or so. It was/is CD quality, no compression.

I wish there were more choices. Maybe eventually.
