For interconnects from my LP12: It's all line Linn. DIN connection to my Lingo power supply and gold RCA's that connect to my EAR 324 phono stage.
I just got to try the Purist Audio Venustas Phono cable over the Linn's cable that came with my arm.

It was smoother, extended bass, it improved everything. Clearer would be a word that I would choose. much quieter background.

I'm keeping my Pro-Ject 9cc as is. If I decide to upgrade my tonearm it will to the Ekos SE with Keel Plate.
I would check for other areas to upgrade your LP12 before adding those phono cables. Check out the power supply upgrades too. Does your LP12 have the Cirkus bearing?

I used to use the original VDH 501 which came with the SME V. I changed to the Siltech Avalon and saw a big improvement.

I contacted Joey Perfito, the Tributaries National Product Specialist, about the capacitance of the Tributaries Series 9 analog cables. He stated the Series 9 interconnects have 23.4 pF per foot. That's a bit higher than the Zebra ICs at 16.2 pF per foot.

I use Siltech MXT New Yorks here, and I'm happy....

I'd consider MIT's too, as well as Cardas, since cardas mainly focuses on turntable cabling...

Keep them spinning,
Bert.
