Default TB2i's are in the house!!!

Can you say POWER HANDLING????

I used meter hold to get the photo, but we had these amps bouncing of 1000 watts quite a bit!!!

I think that Ian approved of what he was hearing with the 501's driving the PMC's to some serious sound levels.

PMC's own Ian Verdugo

The sound is incredible, very detailed, very musical, tight bass, I am really impressed.

When I took the BIG Mc speakers out of my room I thought that I would be crying... the PMC's are making me smile...

Look a little different???

A HUGE thanks to Ian for personally delivering my new speakers and helping with set up.

I am really grateful to him and for everyone on this forum that pointed in the way of the incredible PMC speaker line up.

Thank you all.

Now... to sub or not to sub...

I've always been fond of the PMC sound. Had some supply issues in this country a while ago; so many people heard the then new GB1's and wanted them only to be waiting months for the them...\

Give them woofers time to break in before thinking about a sub and consider filling those stands.

Stephen,
Congrats - those look great, and it's cool that you're enjoying them so much after such a larger speaker. VERY cool to be helped by "The Man" himself!

The stands are filled and tuned by PMC's Western Sales Rep, Ian Verdugo, and he even personally broke these speakers in for me.

They are rockin' right out of the box!!!

Not even I would deliver 1000 watts of power to a BRAND NEW speaker...

Just shut off the work for the day.

Sitting in the music room and REALLY REALLY not being able to get my head around the sound that these little black boxes are producing.

Simply AMAZING.

The TB2i is an amazing speaker that can hold it's own against much larger speakers.

Of course, they do not have the bass slam the the 2 big 10' bass drivers on the LS360's could produce... but the detail, seperation of instruments, imaging is nothing short of amazing.

Stephen.......I am very pleased to know the PMC TB2i's are making you smile. I knew they would. Pretty damn impressive to see the MC501 meters pumping 500+ watts into the TB2i's. That is the difference between a speaker manufactured by a consumer audio company, and a speaker manufactured by a company the builds professional monitors for the broadcast and recording industries. Those puppies are a lot more serious than they appear. Congratulations.

As good as the transmission line design is on the TB2i's, a sub will fill the bottom beautifully. Put a Fathom f112 or f113 with them.

Love it... Now you need to change that profile pic... I don't know if it should be the meter at just under 1000 or your complete set up pic.

You will love them more and more as time goes by, all of the PMC Aficionados will testify to that!

Ian.......Nothing like showing Stephen right out of the chute how PMC's handle power. Way to go.
