Default Zetron power cord interested

Hi,
I've been using Anaconda CX to feed Esoteric Transport for years,
Now I want to upgrade to Zetron Series, but there is no King Cobra Zetron.
So is this mean Anaconda Zetron is an equivalent of King Cobra CX ?
I also notice more shining AC plug, seems like rodium or silver plated instead
of plain brass on old model. This plating alone will cause some sonic tonality changed.
So anyone have experience with new Zetron AC cord ? Wanna know what
new plug+Zetron do to the sound.

Thanks

TOGA

I am also interested to know about the new Zitron Power Cables. Want to install them on ARC gear: REF5SE and REF 210.

Would be very interested to have user impressions vs the older Shunyata Cables.

Call Shunyata and ask them about the new Zitron lineup. They are great people to deal with.

toga i have 5 king cobra cx's and 2 Anaconda cx's. One king cobra feeds my Triton (do yo u have one of these yet?)

In about a week or two, I'll have 3 of the new anaconda ztrons at home to try. one 20 amp for my triton, and 2 others to compare to the King Cobras.

I personally think the king cobra cx's will be hard to beat-might be different....but the Triton just was increadibly better than my Vray 2...so we'll soon see..

I use the King Cobra CX on my dCS Scarlatti Dac, Trans, and Clock...

jfrech, I don't have that much budget for AC cords. I guess I can only buy one Zetron, may be Python Z, as Ana Z is very expensive at $3,000. The rest of my AC cables are
Transparent PL MM2 and RSA HZ that come with my RSA Maxim. I used to run my system with all CX cords and I feel I have to replace some with more robust and tight sounding cables, so here Transparent came. For CD transport, nothing can replace this Ana CX, it make the best tone in my system.

From what people say, a python ZiTron PC will probably best your ana cx...

That means a cx King might have trouble against a ZiTron Anaconda on a source component.

I'll tell you one thing for sure, I have Zitron Cobra's and they are MUCH better than my old Wireworld Silver Electra's. Even the meters on my Mac equiptment are brighter. Not to mention the major improvement in overall sound and bass extension depth, and soundstage.

I really can't remember what I posted about Transparent power cables, but
it's the most dynamic and tonally neutral cable I've used. It's however a bit
rough sounding and I can tell you that this slight roughness is due to the
male and IEC plug that come with it. By mixing Anaconda CX in the system,
I got a smoother sound, but too much of Ana CX will make system sound very thick
and blur in the bass.

Default Tried Anaconda/Cobra Zetron AC chords

Found the Cobra a little tipped in the upper mids and treble-
Anaconda more smooth from bottom to top-
treble smooth, not rolled off though.
We're talking gradiations here...
At 3X the price of Cobra I guess they should be!
The layering depth and image outline made KS Emotion seem
a tad 2D and more mid rangey colored.
Dealer doesn't carry Python Zetron to demo
Did A/B on CD player and MC402 amp.
If I get one will probably put on amp.
