Sure. Every country has import duties. But they are always based on the declared value supported by a receipt.

Buy from a B&W dealer to get the ownership. And thereby the global service.

Create a second receipt with a friendly party in the UK by selling and then buying back from them, both for the same but greatly reduced number.

Use second receipt for customs.

Entirely legal and saves a couple thousand at least.

I’m curious as to what the 805 and 804 will look like based upon the description.

The new 800 Series Diamond range continues to feature seven models, beginning with the two-way 805 D4 stand-mount speaker. In addition, the company has a series of three-way floorstanding models, including the 804 D4, 803 D4 and 802 D4. For the flagship model in the range, Bowers & Wilkins has also reintroduced the 801 D4 to replace the existing 800 D3. .............

My take on all of that is that around half of the listed changes are for aesthetics rather than pure performance, which probably indicates a desire to cater more to the 'luxury' market, so it will be interesting to see how that works out.

No mention of any changes to the crossover filter design so they should sound more similar than different to the existing D3 models, but time will reveal all.

There are changes to the crossover and parts materials.

In the US, we would call a set of transactions like this tax evasion and/or fraud. The sale/repurchase would not be considered legit, the effort that went into them would be proof that you knew what you were doing was wrong
