Seeing the propagandist panelists and program hosts on Russian State TV focus heavily (I'm tempted to say "go ballistic") lately on invocations of "holy war" and "here's what we can do to London, Warsaw, and Paris" suggests that disillusionment, coupled with a dollop of resignation and not a little resentment of the incompetence of Russian military (if not political) leadership, runs deep beneath the veneer of "protest too much" bravado.
The expressed masked-as-certainty hope that the mass mobilization of raw troops who are undertrained, underfed, and under-equipped (to say nothing of ill-led) will turn the tide is desperation on display. Keep the information coming, Sergio. It's much appreciated. And do stay safe.
