Yes, Dan,

I'm interested too but I will ask Jean Marc to be very honest : he is a very KIND guy, who will take care not to say something that could hurt you in anyway !

Jerome- thank you for your review of your journey and your new system, may you enjoy it for years to come.

More than that I appreciate your perspective on life- your care for your father, recognizing we don't live forever and getting the gear and system you want, valuing the opinion of your wife. More that an audiophile, you are a mensch in the best sense of the word.

Thank you very much. That is too much honor for me. My father is a "Mensch". Dan also (jdandy). I hope I will qualify for that one day.
Best wishes,
Jérôme

My father has a very bad illness. It's his pleasure to come every week from friday night till sunday morning and see me and his grandchildren. So I'm not sad if I can't listen to it untill sunday.
Some things are more important than music, as we all know.
Best wishes,
Jérôme

Jérôme,

I am sorry to hear that your Dad is sick. I apologize if my comment upset you.
Enjoy your time with your Dad, and then the music.

Jérôme,
Thanks for a great review. Your enthusiasm really shows, and your English leaves no need for an apology - in fact it's better written than most Anglophones can articulate. Sorry to hear about your father - I hope he enjoys the system when he visits. My father came down to visit last year just after I got much of my current gear, and we really enjoyed listening to my system. Enjoy the music!

Chuck,
Your comment did absolutely not upset me. It was very funny. Don't worry.
Best wishes,

Thank you very much !!
Yes, my father listened to some music.
But his moral is not very high.
He used to laugh all the time and to tell stories and jokes.
So he needs entertainment that can take away from thinking.
As Bruno Bettleheim said in his wonderful book "Survive" : Theater is the best entertainment men invented. On a big screen, you're taken into action, and you forget your body. So I put him movies on the 60' Plasma. He enjoys it very much.

Thanks everyone to the nice comments and support.
This is a place where we get friendship and love everyday.

Best wishes,
Jérôme
