Default No need for a car radio

According to the entering college class of 2016 there is no need for a radio in cars.

Having been brought up holding a transistor radio to my ear it's hard to swallow that radio is considered obsolete by our youth.

I still remember when FM was something few ever listened to and every one had a radio.

Is radio dead?

Radio is dead.

Completely. Dead.

Let it go finish burying itself.

Is radio dead?

They are too busy texting while driving to tune in a station.

Radio isn't what it used to be, but I don't think it's dead yet. Remember they said vinyl was dead too. Of course they were write about 8 tracks, so who knows.

I would think many people still listen to the radio while driving in the car. There are a lot of people who don't care to pay for satellite radio. My wife, son, & daughter all listen to their car radio's. I listen to Sirius.

Cancel the order.

Put the money towards your C500.

But really, I still listen to the radio, so until the radio station shuts down... that college class can serve a warning to me and that's that.

Internet radio has replaced FM for me at home.

Never much listened to the radio in my car and, although my new one has a hard drive, SDHC and USB, I stopped using them after I experimented to see what I could do. I prefer to drive.
