Stephen, here you go.
More new pictures of the upcoming Fuji X-E1! | Fuji Rumors

I love Fuji colours. I bought my S5Pro and F200EXR for the colour and skin tone rendition.

Well, the little X10 continues to impress the h*ll out of me; I'm discovering shooting modes I didn't know it had....the no. of different modes it shoots in is impressive. One them, using the EXR setting has different modes within the mode, e.g. resolution priority, maximal ISO/minimal noise, and maximal dynamic range). It also scenes modes e.g. shooting indoor scenes, a mode for fireworks, snow, beach, etc.

There's also built-in image stabilization: check out this shot of Lucky taken with available at ISO 3200 at 1/6th second!

I always set my S5Pro and F200EXR in the expended dynamic range mode. It protects highlight like no others.

Interesting; I'm just getting to know EXR; it's not present on my F31fd.

A pic using the B&W mode:

Will do Stephen....definitely want that hard leather case.....but before I pull the trigger I have to sell something in my sig.

Is this the case you're talking about?

Stephen, thanks for this thread, I now know what little gem I am going to buy for my trip to the USA. I'm not lugging my camera gear like I used to, I'm over it.Very impressed with the colours in your pics, compared to what we had to pay in digital to get the same realistic portrayal of depth & realistic vibrancy without looking like a pshop hooker is amazing.

Stephen, some great looking pics! Man, I cannot believe such natural looking prints can come from such a small framed body. Awesome stuff!

'Cisco,
Yes, that's it! It's really nice, a real hard-shell leather case like camera cases used to be!

Kev, do it. I will be perfect for your trip.
I gotta tell ya, I am LOVING this camera....gorgeous image quality, a LOT of shooting mode versatility, and those sumptuous Fuji colors.

This camera is made like a fine photographic instrument. My Fuji F31fd, while it's a little wonder, and my Canon G9, which I don't like, both feel like "digicams". The X10 feels like a camera camera the way a Leica or my old Olympus OM-1 or my 1D MkII feels (actually, the 1D MkII feels like a tank, but that's another story ).

It has that feeling of heft, of substance, of smooth controls and overall feel that a fine photographic instrument has. I am REALLY impressed with the X10.

BTW, if you get to the Bay Area, you should definitely look me up...I can give you guys a terrific trip up to the Napa Valley.

This thread couldn't come at a better time. I've been getting tired lugging my Nikon DSLR and lenses around and have been checking out reviews for a more compact type camera. I all but settled on the Fujifilm X100 but will have to look into the X10 as well.

I really dig the old school styling as well as the nice aftermarket accessories. It reminds me of my wifes old Olympus OM-10.
