Seriously though,..if you cannot do it today, plan to do it. Costs less than footers and will affect the whole list plugged into the Denali v2.

Or buy an Everest [emoji2]

Mark

Not exact comparison, but at the time I had TritonV3/Typhon combo being fed by a Sigma NR V!. Upgraded to the Sigma XC V2 cord.

No comparison. V2 cords all the way.

Now of course have gone the next step: Everest is a beast and great performer as well

Do you feel there is any improvement to be had if I move to an Alpha XC or pretty much any of the v2 cords? I know in general they are better than the v1 cords, but I feel the sigma EF v1 "should be" sufficient and a high performer in that application.
My two cents..

It was clearly evident that the Alpha HC feeding my Denali v1 was hindering the v2 magic. I swapped it for a Delta v2 to match the one feeding my DAC and amp and the improvements were profound. I really think it’s important to have v2 technology throughout.

The key point with the better power cords is they provide the requisite current to allow the Denali to perform to it's full potential. Just something to keep in mind. And your Denali will prove to be a long-term investment, so as your system is upgraded in terms of performance, Denali will be able to provide performance to match it.
Thank you. I intend to upgrade to a Delta XC in a month or two but for now I'm going to stick with what I have which is a Diamondback platinum. I like to do one upgrade at time that way I thoroughly understand the changes of each.

Default Add power distributor to Denali 6000/s v2

Hello All, I need to extend a couple more outlets to the Denali 6000/s v2. I read that daisy chain another Shunyata conditioner like the Cyclops is not a good idea. In this case, what will be your recommendation?

I've heard that some people accomplish this with a PS8, but I believe it's discontinued.

Yes, long discontinued; the new replacement Venom V16 is awesome. I have 3 of them in use as of now.

I was really impressed with it when it was sent to me for product photography; the lastest gen of Venom power distributors are pretty amazing. It sounds awesome as you say, and is a real bargain at it's price.

24 dB noise reduction, GP-NR ground plane noise reduction system and...16 outlets.

Something of note is that each bank of 8 outlets is isolated from the other bank of 8, so you can connect to your audio gear to one bank and your home theatre gear to the other and they are completely isolated from each other.

BTW, it was pretty cool seeing my product shots for the Venom V16 in a 2-page ad spread in the same issue of TAS that had my Linn Klimax review on the cover.

You'll note that the shots of rear panel at the top and lower right shows the V16 with the optional Shunyata SSF-38 stainless steel footers. These are available as an option and provide a notable improvement in sound quality as the result of improved mechanical grounding.

Also, the Venom V16 is available as a "bundle" with either a Shunyata C19 Venom HC V2 or C19 Venom XC power cord; the bundle provides notable savings compared to purchasing the V16 power distributor and power cord separately. If folks buy the V16 power distributor and Venom XC bundle, it also comes with the SSF-38 feet.

MasterLu will take good care of folks interested in one.
