Nothing too exotic here for me, just Canadian Mapleleafs, US Gold Eagles, Gold China Pandas, and African Krugerrands.

Gold Pandas are a good investment. I have a few myself.

Chinese Panda coins have been some of the most popular coins on the market ever since they were introduced to the world in 1982. And for good reason: if you had bought a Chinese gold Panda, a Canadian gold Maple Leaf, and a South African gold Krugerrand back in 1982, you could sell your Maple Leaf and Krugerrand today for only the gold price, while your gold Panda could be sold today for over $2,500! As one of the best performing coins on the market, the Panda coin series has many other years that are worth more than their bullion price, and this has added to their popularity. With mintage figures a fraction of what other bullion coins are and extremely high quality coins coming directly from the mint, many people have fallen in love with collecting Panda coins of all sizes. Next time you want to buy gold, buy better than bullion - buy Chinese Pandas from Panda America.

Have been interested in buying a gold coin for years. Is there a good site to visit to do some research? Also, where do you buy your gold coins from?

OH Yeah, Morgans, Peace, American Eagles, most all proof sets, anything silver Franklin's quarters all types, most all are certified stuff. Also buy bulk silver from time to time as well. And do have some paper money etc 1/2 dines, early 1800 stuff.

I guess a decent list of stuff

This place is pretty good, I've used them in the past.

Pretty cool.

This 2016 Proof recalls the 1848-1855 California gold rush and contains 1 oz. of 99.9% pure silver and features a genuine 24K gold leaf encased in a transparent capsule! The gold leaf appears to be in the gold mining pan of the California prospector depicted on the obverse.

With legal tender value of 5 New Zealand dollars, the 2016 coin from the Pacific islands of Niue bears an image of Queen Elizabeth II, a statement of weight and purity, and the denomination on the reverse. The 1 oz. silver Proof comes in a handsome presentation case

I like anything early 1800's and before. Also not a huge fan of slabbed coins, except in certain circumstances.
