I am embarrassed I can't recall more. Weren't some of the radios able to be used as tuners or are just tuners?

I saw a picture of an early 1950 bogen and it looked similar - big dial running across the face of it.

Was considered one of if not the most expensive tuners of the day. Just beautiful.

I guess I shouldn't have asked as I just can't find it again.

Oh well...

---No no, ask anything and anytime; we all have fun searching (I do anyway).

* But we do need better info, more precise instructions, you know ...

Cheers,
Bob

P.S. Freestone, I finally find the thread you were referring to (Tuner), from your PM.

- Also, the old r.a.d.i.o.s from the 30s, 40s, and 50s, were tuners with amplification (radio tuner receivers; Mono or Stereo later on).
Strictly Radio Tuners without amplification are a different race of animals, and became more popular in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
