Great review Tim, a very enjoyable read. I appreciate the quality of your writing.

Bart - isn't it time for you to come over to the 'dark side' (vinyl). While more involved, for you serious listening you may find it the best.

Glenn, you and many other dark forces have tried multiple times to drag me down the rabbit hole of vinyl. So far I have been strong enough to resist.

But thank you for your concern.

Thank you Jem and Tony for reading. I genuinely appreciate your comments.

Fwiw, I had it pointed out that the review electronics and speakers configured with the LP2.1 phono, L2.1 linestage, M1.2 Ref amps and Alexia 2 speakers (but for upgrades to the original L2 and original Alexias) is identical to Lamm’s Room 2 system at CES 2014 – where the LP2.1 was introduced.
