I am waiting on this, and this would drive the value of the older equipment down a bit, but there is another point. It seems to me that McIntosh is steering a bit away from their legacy of quality workmanship to a more board member drive profit focus - we don't care about the customers. My concern is that new equipment may be of lesser quality but continue that maximum price tag. So, I'm still thinking that buying older McIntosh will outlive newer made McIntosh products and be of a significant value.
