Default "What's going on" SACD

Hi All,
Just picked up the MoFi sacd of Marvin's masterpiece album.
It doesn't get much better or smoother. The soundstage is well define and very layered...

That is one fantastic album...we have the Deluxe Edition (redbook). I had my 85 year old mother over for a listening session, recently...she wasn't as fond of this as we are!

Enjoy!!

Blue,
being from a suburb of motown I grew up hearing all this. AP has a new recording of Sam Cooke. I think that is next on my list.

BTW congrats on ordering the Sophias are they going to be a certain blue that Ferrari made?

I don't own any Sam Cook...was thinking about that the other day. I also won't be owning Sashas...it'll be Sophia 3...their sound suited my ears, and the price suited my wallet. And, yes, they will be in Sebring Blue...which makes me very happy!

I was seriously considering buying Serge's beautiful pair in Macadamia (a great color!), but I loved seeing the Sebring Blue Sashas and Duettes so much that I was afraid that I'd always be wondering about the Sophias in blue. Now, I won't have to worry about that.

Marvin's masterpice sounds amazing on vinyl. Sam Cooke's Night Beat is also highly recommended.

Robert, consider 'Night Beat'. It's a fine recording and a good start to Sam Cooke. 'Live in Harlem at the SQ Club' is raw but it puts you right in the audience at the Apollo.

If you like Marvin's 'What's Going On' be sure to check out his other masterpiece 'Let's Get It On'. Wonderful on vinyl and sacd.

Thanks, Reg...I actually think I'll start by learning to spell his name right.

Marvin and Sam, both men left us far too early.
