Klaudio ..... Incredible customer service
I know quite a few of us on this forum own the KL ultrasonic RCM. I wanted to share how well this company takes care of their clients. I purchased my machine right here from Ivan, of course, this past April.
After cleaning 900+ albums, I ran into a minor issue. My unit began skipping the priming cycle and the record began rotating and ultrasonics kicked on at same moment the reservoir tank first began to fill with water....instead of waiting the 10 secs it normally takes to fill tank then spin. No big deal really. I cleaned another 100 records. I reached out to Ivan. He immediately put me in contact with the right person, I got an RMA, and I shipped my machine back to Washington with the assurance that it would be fixed in short order and shipped back. True to their word, after 3 or 4 days in their hands, my unit was on its way back. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I opened up my box, pulled out my machine, with that wonderful fresh from the factory smell. Oh you know that smell. I noticed the blue cellophane protective wrapping carefully stretched across the top, protecting the record slot. Nice touch, I thought. I was hoping they wouldn't forget my power cord I sent back with the unit. Power cord no longer stuffed to the side as I had packed it. Nope, now it was neatly coiled inside a small bag with past number sticker. Hmmmm. Carried it to my room, sat it down and gave it a good looking over. Then I noticed what was missing..... The toggle on the front panel. No more switch to select wash/dry or dry only. Then it hit me, they sent me back a brand frickin' new machine. The latest version. Unscrewed cap on back, tank floor was pristine. Cap threads no longer frayed a bit from frequent uncapping like my old one. Filled her up, plugged her in, bam .. Nice new light on top loading slot along with newly designed frame around the slot. Incredible incredible service. Koolance/Klaudio is a fantastic company with an incredible product that they obviously stand behind 1000%. Probably doesn't hurt that Ivan is my dealer either. Thanks dude. Strength in numbers indeed.

Glad to hear you had such a positive experience with Ivan and KLaudio with a problem after the sale. I hope I never need service on mine but it is great to know they stand behind their products.

I too had a similar experience. My problem was different, (and it may have been self-induced), but the immediate response and the receipt of a brand new machine within days was the same. Incredible customer service!
