Default Next watch?

Well my Corum Deep Hull 48 just died on the plane on the way back from the US. Something is probably broken inside but it does not bode well so I am sort of on the lookout for a replacement.

Not too elegant or small. Panerai intrigues me but the range is so vast I have no idea where to start and the only one I noticed, the Bronzo, has suddenly shot up in price due to the Expendables 2 (!)

Here are three that look interesting;

IWC Big Pilot Top Gun Miramar. The Top Gun association does nothing for me. I l like the beige on green though and the strap will last much longer with me (leather is a no no)

Hublot King Bang Maradona edition

IWC Yacht Club Chronograph

Hublot King Power Deep dive

Any more suggestions?

Howie
The IWC Yacht Club Chrono is beautiful. If I were choosing, that would be the one

+1

Watches are a very personal selection. One watch does not fit all taste and therefore we get to choose. The Yacht clubs appeals to me the most out of the ones you choose here. A very classic, elegant looking time piece. The others are nice but I feel like I should be driving a tank or at least a Humvee when wearing them...

Cheers...

The only one I like from these alternatives is the IWC Big Pilot Top Gun Miramar.

Why not a Rolex Submariner?

Better yet, Deepsea Sea-Dweller with its new larger casing.

I am a little partial to this one above since my wife just bought it for me in September. I know that many will not agree, but IMHO it does not get any better then this.

I was not that familiar with the entire line of IWC watches so I checked out their website. They make some very good looking watches.

IWC Schaffhausen | Fine Timepieces From Switzerland | Home

Best of luck in your decision!
