Thanks guys.

Just a little background-

My love of hi-fi was due to my grandfather's influence. He had owned a couple of very early McIntosh pieces and a single Electrovoice Georgian. In 1960 he added and E-V Patrician 800 for stereophonic. The Mc gear was long gone by the time I came into this world- replaced by a Fisher 800-B receiver. I loved listening to his classical music on his system and when discussing hi-fi, he'd always say that McIntosh is the very best.

Over the years I had gone through my share of gear from the giant Japanese mfgrs yet always longing for McIntosh. Being preoccupied with job I really hadn't done much with audio for two decades until a couple years ago when I finally decided to upgrade my system with some McIntosh.

Long story short, I've finally assembled a very modest system with some vintage Mc gear which I'm extremely happy with.

I'm kind of embarassed to reveal what it is in this company - lol. Before tooooooo long I hope to continue the journey- the McIntosh bug never sleeps for very long!
