Default What will have you go for your wallet?

The state of the current economy has us holding on tight to our wallets. On the other hand, we are McIntosh fan boys. What can McIntosh do to have us reaching for our wallets? List some of the things they could do to stimulate our economy? Let's be truthful. What I mean is if they do it you will pull out your wallet and buy it today.

Personally, I would like to see the C22 anniversary model be offered as a stand alone unit at the same price of the C2300.

MX150's MVP881's & MR88's all have some people reaching deep already. There are many awesome Mac products that will be introduced later this year, but I truly can't talk about it on or off the board.

I can guarantee you Mac will have everyone

+ 1 on the C22 !!

And as I mentionned many times before, an integrated amp / CD / tuner one piece....

Mine? No thanks, since I deal with the field of Nephrology I know that even if I have two, nobody gets one.

However I can get one from South America for around $5k... shoud I ever need one

Mc should offer a trade-up plan for pre-pros even if it is less than the 75% plan for amps and receivers -- that would provide LOTS of motivation for me to wait for the MX150 and buy one and do my little share to stimulate the economy.

I'd be sorely tempted by a SS stereo preamp along the lines of a C45 or C46 with a Sabre DAC built in.

Perhaps a power conditioner capable of supporting my 501's? I'd consider the MPC-1500 for the front end, but what about the back side? Since I run Martin Logan speakers I need something more than just speaker wire to make them work. Something for the front and back would seem to make a good combination to me.

The only item that might have me reaching for the wallet is a McItnosh 300/750 replacement that would handle hi-rez recordings. I would hope it had at least MCD-500 quality DAC's and balanced outputs.

None of the new video gear interests me. I prefer to get out of the house to see movies. My current theater set-ups are only used for watching sports or the occasional music DVD. In fact I will be tearing down one of those systems once I find a way of reconfiguring a 11' high 14' long custom cabinet into something useful.
