Default My setup Problem

As you can see my front door opens toward my left speaker, I have to keep it pushed back into the small opening. The other speaker is directly across behind my amps. Its a closet in the middle where the t.v. is. Im mounting the t.v. to the wall. and my htm2d that is mounted on the wall (out of picture) will be placed on table below with t.v. mounted above. I could move my amps behind my right speaker, but then that speaker would be closer than the left unless there is a way to pull it forward. too line them up equally. As you see, I have a BAD setup here. But I have to make this work the best i can for now.
I guess I could move my rack (amps) to the left wall, in front of front window. but then i'll have to replace my speaker cable. wouldn't be long enough.
The least cost. is to either leave it the way it is or move the right speaker in front of the amps. Probably a better idea even if it is 2 feet closer.
Well, now you see what I have to work with and what my problem is. I can post other angles as well.

one last pic, any suggestions to my mess? I guess I should explain why my center speaker was mounted so high. I had a 67" DLP that I sold to my sister and the stand was 3 feet taller. Now the new table I only about a foot off the floor, so ill move the center down to the table and mount the 50" t.v. to the wall. but I still have my speaker placement problem its a small house. Only 10 feet away from the speakers to the couch.

Your current configuration is severely limiting the performance of all that great gear you have. I suggest you put speakers on both sides of the TV and put the gear rack behind your right or left speaker.

Thats what i would like to do. But I'm worried about people bumping into my speaker when they enter through the front door. there isnt much room. It was much nicer in my basement, but that was then, this is now. I will move the rack behind the other speaker, after mounting the t.v. and moving the center down, i'll relocate my left front and see if it's "possible" for people to get by without touching the speaker.

It's hard to tell from the pics but it seems you may have a little room to slide the TV to the right and get the speakers tight against it on both sides. It's a compromise but it will sound much better.

You are limited in options. I think I would have held off of power cables and purchased some longer speaker cable even if they were not the ones you want long term. You need to get your equipment away from the speakers. Off to one side maybe. Both speakers really need to be very close to equal distance to your seating position.

Ten feet to from you speakers to your couch is limiting your image depth but it still going to be pretty good. You can get some very good sound with near field set-ups .

I am purchasing new speaker cables. I'll be replacing my audioquest rockefellers and adding a few feet. Also replacing stock power cords with maybe 2 or 3 meter lenghts to have the option of moving my equipment (amps) further away. I try not to have too much extra cable becuase its more spaghetti to hide. but it's cheaper to buy a little longer now vs. replacing later.
this is just temporary, I have a projector and screen that I will use when I place my equipment in a basement again. but that may be 6mo. or 1 year.
