G08.2

Anyone using this great player? Thoughts? I have used Meridian for my cd player for a long time , starting with the 508.24.....the absence of laser/sled components led me to the G08.2. I wasn't won over by the original G08 but the addition of the proprietary filter like Ayre uses really makes this player shine big time. The bass response is huge. My MC252 really allows this player to shine.....endless power.

G08.2 is the CD player in the G series before the Sooloos era. It is a fine player but it has become abit overshadowed the last couple of years by the Sooloos offerings driving most of the demand and development on the source side.

I think the MS600 (sooloos) audio source endpoint was the first to actually being able to compete with the G08.x in pure audioquality.
