I've always wanted some Cary gear. Any opinions...

Yes to Cary. What I've owned or listened to has a distinct sound. Lots of bloom in the mid-bass, airy highs, and big 3d soundstage.

Besides McIntosh, Cary is the other brand I buy. I have the 805 Anniversary Mono blocks and they are sweet. I have the SPL-98L to go with it too.

Those 805 Anniv. monos are awesome amps. I've lusted after them. The new 211 Founders edition looks pretty cool also. I wonder how it sounds.

I've wanted the slp-05 pre. It looks pretty nice and it has blue meters

The 805's have received more great press than any other amp in the past 20 years. Anyone who's auditioned them have raved about them. Amazing sound, build quality & looks.
