Default Need A Small Stereo for an iPod...
That will not break the bank.

I thought Meridian F80 at first, but then realized it was $3000!!! F-that!

Anybody can think of anything that is portable with a small footprint (with integrated or almost integrated speakers) that has full iPod connectivitiy?

I bought the B&W Zepplin for my wife and you would be very happy with the sound. It is great for having on in the background when you are doing other things. It isn't like sitting in front of our stereo rigs but that isn't what it is for.

How about for travel? I'm in a hotel room with my tiny tinny computer speakers as I write. It would be great to have something a bit more substantial that can fit into a travel-on.

I tend to gravitate toward using my headphones in a situation like that... Carrying-on a rig, no matter how small, can get old. Fast.
