Someone once left a 328 in my garage for safekeeping while he was on vacation. It was summer. It was so difficult to explain what was so special about Ferrari to friends, that I had to, well, demonstrate.

Alas, the only Italian garage mate it had was an Alfa.

How can one resist? What kind of Alfa?

Weather is great! I drove them both back to back to get some heat into them and filled them both up with gas for the longer storage ahead. Snow flakes falling and I was hammering away in the Stradale and then followed that up with the Spider. It was magical! Never drove a Ferrari with the snow flakes falling, so romantic!!!

They are as different as can be. The Stradale (CS) is loud, ready to rip and tear up the roads the moment you squeeze the gas pedal. The F1 tranny in the CS is super fast with the race mode on. The Spider I drove at a more relaxed pace, enjoying the click, click action of the gated shifter every time you switch gears. The Spider is a lot more compliant and smooth, just a sweetheart of a Ferrari. Now they are both back in the heated garage enjoying a rest and enjoying a trickle charge massage to their batteries.

Wow! That must have been fun. You are a lucky man. Give them a kiss good night, from me.
